Factotum

A employee having many diverse activities or responsibilities. Also, used as a term for a person, as a handyman or servant, employed to do all kinds of work around the house. The term jack of all trades also conveys (though not exactly), a similar meaning.

The word is originated from Latin as a combination of two words viz – faciō (“do, make”) + tōtum (“everything”).

Example

She was a general factotum at the restaurant – washing dishes, cleaning the floors and polishing the furniture.
